Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop a pipeline of green and sustainable finance projects.
Conduct thorough due diligence and prepare comprehensive credit proposals for renewable energy, waste management, and other eco-friendly ventures.
Manage the bank’s sustainable finance portfolio effectively.
Ensure all portfolio activities and projects are in strict compliance with regulatory policies (e.g., Bangladesh Bank’s Green Banking policies).
Prepare and submit official sustainability reports.
Liaise with Bangladesh Bank and other relevant local and international agencies.
Drive awareness and lead capacity-building initiatives on sustainable finance within the Bank.

Required Qualifications

Education: Master’s/MBA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a relevant business discipline.

Skills & Expertise

Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in sustainable/green finance or a related area.
Preference: Candidates having CEA or similar professional certification, or working experience in SDG/ESG/LEED Certification, will be given preference.
Strong familiarity with Green Banking, Sustainable Finance Policy, and both local and global best practices.
Working experience with regulatory bodies (Bangladesh Bank) and international agencies.
Good analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Age: 30 to 40 years.
